TraffickTrace: Self-training Program to Support Criminal Prosecution

This online training program aims to develop the capacity of civil society actors in Asia to gather evidence and conduct investigations to support criminal prosecutions and civil legal actions in connection with trafficking in persons cases – with a particular focus on open source and financial investigations, and new and emerging patterns of online recruitment and exploitation of victims.

This training program consists of two courses, covering:

open-source and financial investigations; and

the investigation of new online recruitment tactics used by traffickers to help identify and prosecute perpetrators active on the internet.

This training program will be useful for civil society actors, NGO caseworkers, victim/civil party lawyers, and public interest lawyers in Asia who are engaged in investigating and combatting trafficking in persons and supporting victims.
